Getting to Coventry

Coventry is easily accessible from the National Motorway Network that bisects the region - M6, M40, M42, M5, M69; with the A45 and the A46 being the main arterial roads into the city and its region.

By Air

Birmingham International Airport
Birmingham International Airport is located 8 miles (13km) east of Birmingham City Centre at the centre of the national motorway network. It is situated on the A45 (Coventry Road) only 1 mile from junction 6 of the M42, from where there are direct connections to the M1, M5, M6, M6 Toll and M40. The airport is signposted from both the motorways and major roads. The new M6 Toll provides a congestion-free alternative to the M6 between junctions 4 and 11.

From the train station
The railway station for the Ricoh Arena is the main Coventry railway station, which is in the City Centre and approximately 6 miles away. There are always black cabs immediately outside the station and it is a 10 to 15 minute taxi ride costing around £9.00.

There is a taxi drop off point at the Ricoh Arena outside the main Atrium entrance.

Travel to the Hotels
The Ramada Hotel Coventry is located just 15 minutes away from Coventry Airport and 15 minutes away from Birmingham International Airport and the M6 Motorway is easily accessible. With the improved train station it is just 5 minutes walk away.

The Holiday Inn hotel is situated on the outskirts of the historic city of Coventry. It enjoys a prime location benefiting from the motorway networks of the M6, the M1 and the M69. The Holiday Inn Coventry is a 30-40 minute drive from Birmingham Airport costing approximately £30 and a 15 minute drive from Coventry Airport costing approximately £15.

Travel to the Hilton Coventry hotel takes just 25 minutes' drive from Birmingham International Airport. Located on Junction 2 of the M6/M69, the hotel is one junction from the Ricoh Arena.
