Abstracts
Instructions for the Submission of Abstracts: Deadline – 25th June 2010.
Notification to Authors: 12th July 2010.
Authors wishing to present a paper are requested to submit an abstract of a maximum of 300 words. All abstracts should be submitted electronically to Julia.Williams@nwlh.nhs.uk using the attached form (Word File 250kb) and should arrive no later than 25th June 2010.
Abstracts are invited under the following themes:
• Inflammatory Bowel Disease
• Colorectal cancer
• Advanced Practice
• Case Studies
Authors will be notified if their paper has been accepted for oral or poster presentation by 12 July 2010.
Posters will be on display in the exhibition area throughout the duration of the Conference.

Posters will be on display in the exhibition area throughout the duration of the Conference.
An area for poster displays will be allocated in the Purbeck Hall, Bournemouth International Centre. Poster boards are 1.00m wide x 2.00m high. It is recommended that displays do not exceed 1.5m in length. A supply of Velcro tabs will be available at the venue. No screws or double-sided adhesive tape will be allowed as they damage the boards.
Poster Prize
A poster prize of £100 will be awarded by the WCET Committee to the delegate with the best poster at the conference.
Opus Healthcare Bursary Award
This is an annual award donated by Opus Healthcare to an NHS Stoma Care Nurse or Colorectal Nurse.
The award is for £5000 and is to facilitate research in any aspect of stoma care. It is hoped that the Opus Bursary will contribute towards improving the quality of life for people living with a stoma.

Stoma Care Nurse of the Year Award
Do you know a Stoma Care Nurse who has been outstanding, and has excelled over the last 12 months, and who deserves to be honoured by his/her colleagues?
This is an opportunity for you to personally nominate the Stoma Care Nurse you think has performed above and beyond the call of duty. An announcement of the successful winner and presentation of the award will be made by Salts Healthcare at the Gala dinner which is being held on Tuesday 28th September.
